The domain is in your name
The domain is registered in your name before anything else. From that moment on, you are its sole owner. While I work on your site, you give me access, and you can revoke it at any time.
No monthly hosting fee
Your site is hosted for free: the free hosting plan covers a small website with plenty of room to spare. You pay only for the domain, about $10–15 a year.
Email on your own domain
An address with your business name after the @ — free or for a small fee, your choice (see Email below).

Every site is set up for search engines: titles, descriptions, a sitemap, speed. I connect it to Google and Bing and submit it for indexing; it usually shows up in search within a few days to a couple of weeks. I don't do paid advertising.
Accessible to people with disabilities
Your site works for people who can't see well or use only a keyboard. It's not just about caring for people: in the US the ADA covers websites too, and in California a violation costs at least $4,000 each time. I build to the international WCAG 2.2 standard.

How much does a website cost?
See the prices above. I name the exact price before work begins, and it doesn't change after that.
How long does it take to build my website?
The timelines above apply once I have all your texts, photos and numbers. If something is missing, the clock starts when I have everything.
Do I have to pay monthly for my website?
No. You pay for the site once; hosting is free, and the only yearly cost is your domain, about $10–15. Support is optional, and you can cancel it any time.
How do I pay?
Once we agree on the job and the price, you pay one third. When the site is ready, you pay the rest.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Card or Zelle — the price is the same. If another way suits you better, let's talk.
How do I know the website is really mine and nobody else has access?
Before work begins, we set up an account on your own email together — it holds both the domain and the hosting — and you invite me as a member. I build the site and its admin panel. After launch, you remove my access or keep it for support. Nobody passes passwords to anybody.
Which accounts will I have, and why?
Two. The first is the account that holds your domain and hosting: you need it once a year to pay for the domain, or if you ever want to move the site. Keep it somewhere safe.
The second is your site's admin panel: you'll use it most, to change texts, prices and photos.
What happens if my web designer disappears?
With me, nothing is lost: the domain, the hosting and the admin panel are in your name from day one, so your site never depends on me being reachable.
Do I need a website if I already have Instagram?
Instagram doesn't show your posts to everyone, and an account can be blocked. A website is your own address that nobody can take away, and it's how people find you on Google.
Can I move my site off Wix or Squarespace without losing everything?
Yes. I move your texts and photos, the site gets faster, and the monthly builder fee goes away.
Can I get an email like hi@mybusiness.com?
Yes — from free options to email for a team; see Email above. I'll help you choose and set everything up.
What if I need changes after the site is live?
Texts and photos — yourself, in the admin panel, free. Anything more complex — under support or as a separate task with the price agreed first.
Is my website ADA compliant?
I build to the WCAG 2.2 standard so the site works for people with disabilities. I can't give a legal guarantee: compliance also depends on the content you add later.
Do you work only remotely?
Yes: messages and a preview link. We don't need to meet.
Can you guarantee I'll rank #1 on Google?
Honestly, nobody can guarantee that — be wary of anyone who promises it. I do everything that depends on the site: speed, proper titles and descriptions, a sitemap, connection to Google. But a place in Google's top ten and more customers, I can't guarantee.
